That said, when we browse through websites on the Internet, we do come across some websites that are less than pleasing to the eyes and we wish that these websites rather not be on the Internet. - The design of the website looks ancient. When a user visits your site, they suddenly feel as if they have been thrown back to the 1990’s.
- The website is not responsive or mobile friendly. Today a vast majority of people browse the internet through mobile devices, be it smart phones or tablets. So, if your website is not mobile friendly or have a responsive design, users are not going to spend time on the website.
- The website takes a long time to load. People today have no patience. No one wants to visit a website and wait forever for it to load. Users today like fast loading websites.
- The website has flash videos or animated images. Flash videos and GIF images are a thing of the past. They used to be considered trendy a decade ago. Flash sites take a long time to load and are also not supported by a lot of mobile devices nowadays.
- The website is developed for a low resolution like say 800 X 600. This would have been ok ten years back, but today with the updation of devices happening ever so quickly, a website developed with a 800 X 600 resolution would like tiny and users would not want to even look at it.
- The website is difficult to navigate. Users today love websites that have an intuitive design and is easy to navigate.
- The website does not have new features like dynamic forms, interactive chats, social media sharing and other similar features. Gone are the days when users used to love when they saw a video of the owner of the website talking to them. The users today love to be able to communicate with the website owner(s) through contact forms, live chat or social media platforms.
